Get started for the year in two easy steps!

You must set up a login on this page to be a member or make a donation with a credit card. 

First, register your parent or faculty account on this website and enter your student's information.

You'll be able to access the Armstrong Directory and choose your privacy settings. If you already have a Membership Toolkit account from elementary school or another organization, you can use the same login here.

Second, join the PTSA for the 2026-27 school year. It costs just $20 year per person and your membership supports important programs at school.   We encourage all families to get a PTSA membership for their student and one adult!  A membership for one adult and one student comes with our $200 annual fund donation!

Volunteer at Armstrong

The LAUSD volunteer application must be completed each year for parents and community members who want to volunteer on campus. Many fun opportunities come up throughout the year with PTSA and our various Armstrong magnets, academies and clubs! Fill out your volunteer form now so when the time comes, you'll be approved.

If you have students at multiple schools, you must fill out a separate application for each school.

Louis Armstrong Middle School PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association) invites you to join us in our efforts to make a difference in the education and quality of student life at Louis Armstrong Middle School. The objective of our PTSA is to help all children learn, thrive and develop into productive adults. You do not have to have children in our school to belong to our PTSA. The PTSA is the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the United States. There are over one million members in California alone.

The PTSA is all about volunteers giving of their time and resources to benefit children. We are parents, teachers and community members all working together to create a stimulating atmosphere for learning and creativity. If you haven't already done so, please take a moment to commit or renew your commitment to Louis Armstrong PTSA.

The PTSA sells our School Merchandise at our In-Person Events!  Catch us at Orientation, Back to School Night and the Enrollment fair! Bring Cash or the ability to Zelle!

Your Spirit Wear purchase supports our PTSA programs and goes directly back to our students and staff. Plus, you have a great way to show your Armstrong Pride! (Also, all Armstrong branded T-shirts and sweatshirts are approved for wear as P.E. clothes.)
